Introduction
Have you noticed the moon in the night sky?
When you look at the moon, what can you see?
Today we will learn about what the moon is. Its appearance, its purpose, and everything else that we want to know about the moon.
We are going to have a short trip to the moon today!!
Task
Task 1:
1. For 5 to 10 minutes, write or draw in a piece of paper everything you know about the Moon.
2. Grab a partner, sit knee-to-knee and eye-to-eye, and share your work.
3. After you share your work, pass it to teacher.
Task 2:
1. Look on the picture of the moon displayed in the projector and answer the following questions:
- What is the moon?
- What is on the moon?
- Who goes to the moon?
- How do you see the moon?
- When you see the moon in the sky, do you see the whole moon? Why or why not?
2. Group yourselves into 4 and share your answers with one another. Write it on sheet of paper and present your work in class. You can draw or sing or make a role play or anything that would make your report more interesting and effective.
