Introduction

Autism Spectrum Disorder, also commonly known as autism, affects many people around the world. 1 in every 100 people are known to have it. Due to this statistic, many people know someone or will know someone who is diagnoised with this condition at some point in their life. I personally have close relationships with 4 people who are diagnoised with this condition. Therefore because of this high number, awareness should be raised on this topic. Hopefully this Webquest will be the frist step for many of you on your way to becoming aware of and learning about the autism spectrum disorder.

Process

To begin, you first need to know what Autism is. There are many varing degrees of this disorder. The links provided below help to better explain what autism is, who is most affected by it, and what causes the disorder. 

Living with autism can be very challenging. The links below are stories from people diagnosied with this disorder. These will give you some insight into the challenges they face before you experience it for yourself in the next section.

Now that you have gained some understanding on what Autism is and heard stories from people with it, its time to experince for yourself what it is like living with this condition on a daily basic. While I do not know what it is like to live with this disorder, the links below are videos that try to help you understand how hard it can be to live with this disorder.
