Area and Perimeter

Introduction

Welcome Students!!

Today we are going to learn about area and perimeter. We are going to watch a video and do some worksheets so you'll know how to do it. By the time we are finished you will be able to answer two questions. What is Area? and What is Perimeter? We will take a little quiz at the end and to see what your brain knows on area and perimeter.

Task

You will pick a partner and we will watch a video as a class on area and perimeter. You will go to two links on the computer and practice doing area and perimeter. Then you will go to different links and on a separtate sheet of paper you will work on some problems to get some practice on how to solve the area/perimeter of an object. If you and your partner do not finish its okay but you should finish. After you work on the problems you will turn it in and we will have a quick little quiz on what you know.
