ATTENTION SCIENTISTS!!
Planet Earth is having a crisis and is in need of your help. Your mission, if you choose to take it, will be to learn as much information about an animal and their adaptations. You will discover and research the five basic survival needs:
- food/water
- oxygen
- protection/defenses
- shelter
- temperature regulation
You will present your information to your classmates once your mission is over.

Your task is to research an animal and explain the adaptations being used for the animals survival.
- Choose an animal (group must agree on one).
- Research various websites to learn about the animal’s appearance (any unique physical characteristics), behavior, diet, type of habitat, and ecosystem/biome.
- Complete ROLE sheet below.
- Brainstorm your findings with your group.
- Create an e-presentations using Google Slide, Blabberize, or Animoto about your chosen animal and its adaptations.
- Create a visual aid (choices listed below).
- Present to the class.

1. Team of 4 is decided - discuss and agree upon an animal to research.
2. Each team member will be responsible for their role within the group.
- The environmentalist will study the habitat.
- The engineer will study the structures and how it helps them to live in its habitat.
- The nutritionalist will research the diet.
- The psychologist will study the animals' appearance and behavior.

Each team member will be responsible for their part of the presentation.
Presentation must include:
