Task

This WebQuest is designed to teach you all about Presidents.  In February we celebrate President's Day.  So let's learn about Presidents!  Why do we have Presidents?  Who is President?  How many Presidents have we had?  Who are they?  Now pick one and write about them:  Their name, their birthday, were/are they married, do/did they have children, what made them special, etc.

Process

This month (February) we will be learning All About Presidents in class. Presidents are very important to the United States because they are the leaders of our country. We will be learning what a President does, How many Presidents have we had, Why do celebrate President’s Day, and so on.   

After we have learned some of this fun information we will focus on Presidents from our past and you will need to pick 1 President you are interested in and research them.  Please let me know as soon as you have made a choice to make sure that president hasn’t been chosen by someone else.

6.  Some personal facts like were they married?, Did they have children? What age did they become president? What college did they attend, if any?

7.  Any influential impact he had on the U.S.

8.  Are they still living?
