Agricultural Machinery Equipment

Agricultural equipment is any kind of machinery used on a farm to help with farming. But what types of agricultural machinery are the most efficient and practical? To answer this question you will need to work in three groups and complete the tasks designed by your instructor.

You are a group of specialists invited to the farm to help in choosing the agricultural machinery equipment. You are asked to advise the types of machines and implements for three stages: soil cultivation, planting and fertilizing, harvesting and post-harvest. You will create a presentation explaining your choice.

Each group will get one stage of using agricultural machinery. Your task will include the following:

A. PRE-CLASS PREPARATION: - study Web-based materials using the links suggested- do additional Internet search for information on the target issue, if necessary- answer the questions- divide the material between all team members for presentation in class- prepare your presentations (reports) for the members of other groups B. IN-CLASS ACTIVITY -report to the whole class what you have learned on the topic for your group activity Roles. You will be working in teams. It will be up to you to divide roles in each team. For efficiency, there should be a team leader, who will organize the work and divide issues within each topic to make sure everything is covered and there is no overlap.
