Introduction
Adjectives are words that describes what a naming words looks, feels and smell like and is considered a noun. In as much adjectives are also used to describe colours, shapes, number and sizes. Adjectives answers questions like: How, what and where and comparing. An adjective is a word that describes, identifies, modifies, or quantifies something (a noun or a pronoun). In the phrase, "the black cat" the word black is an adjective because it describes the cat.

Task
- Group 1 students will write a paragraph describing themselves using key terms and words such tall, short, brown, dark, soft, hard,white,
- Group 2 students will fill in the missing adjectives in the empty space provided on their work sheets.
- Group 3 students will match the correct adjectives to the following responses on the left side of the page.
- Group 4 students will join the dots, trace and colour the adjective on their worksheets
Process
Step 1: Students will be brainstormed on what was discussed about adjectives in the last class.
Step 2: Re refreshed on “adjectives” by them describing themselves using the key terms such as: describing/ naming word and using keywords such as short, tall, black and brown with the help of the sense organs in standard Jamaican English.

Step 4: After watching the video on adjectives tell some things that you remember from the video
Step 5: Form the group to give number at random. inform students that adjectives can be used to describe the amount of numbers, in any given situation use. Example: There are 6 green bananas on the table.
Step 6:Tell students to look at the colour chart and view how types of colours , their various shapes, sizes of, fruits and vegetables items
Step 7: Tell what are the ways in which they could describe each noun using examples of the sizes, big ,little, tall short from the colour chart
Step 8: Write at least 8sentence in note books that have adjectives in them
Evaluation
Work will be evaluated on a scale of 1-4 for different criteria.1 = Poor 2=Satisfactory 3 = Good 4 = Excellent
