Introduction
This assignment was designed to teach students how to create a video in MovieMaker or Animoto (RRMS) . This assignment is for students to learn how to use MS Movie Maker software program. Students will use MS MovieMaker or Animoto to create a 7 frame video about a fictious beauty/hygience product.
Students will learn how to apply various designs, backgrounds and animations in the MovieMaker/Animoto Program.
Task
First commercial/ beauty/hygiene
- The first commercial should be at least 7 frames /30 second commercial or longer (no longer than 1 minute) about a “Fictitious” Beauty/Hygiene Product that does not exist.
- It must tell the name of the product
- It must have a tag line ( A line that tells why you should buy the product”
- It must have a price.
- It must have 3 reason why a person would buy your product. (you make this up, be creative).
Process
HOW TO COMPLETE THE TASK
(This must be done first before you start using MSMovie Maker). Complete this on a separate sheet of paper (Handout given by Mrs. Hedgepeth).
1. First think of a hygiene product you want to create the commercial for (5 -7 minutes)

5. Next, go to Google and find images of your product.Perhaps look for clipart/images of “empty bottles” or soap bars, etc,
- It cannot be an image of a product that currently exists. For example: Scope, Listerine, Secret, Dial
- Your image/clipart CANNOT display the name of an actual existing product
6. Save the images to your flash drive.
7. Go to ANIMOTO.COM Using the Animoto Username and Password Given to you LOG IN
Using the tips below: begin your video. It is simple and creative assignment.

1. Select your style. 5 points
Choose from a number of video styles that work for just about any occasion or business.
2 Add photos, video clips and music (6 -7 frames) 35 points
3. Add text to frames (reasons why should buy your product and or captions to pictures 35 points
4. Select music to round out your video 10 points
5. Produce and share (sent it to me TechTeacher7th@gmail.com for a grade 10points
