1st Grade Math

Introduction

This will be helpful for 1st grade students that struggling with their math. Students will be able to pratice their math skills by playing a game involve words and pictures at the same time to help them understand better a word problem. 

Task

Students will use the pictures given to help them answer the math problems correctly. They can use the pictures as reference to understand the math problem a little better. 

Students will then use those pictures and match which picture fits best in the problem.

Process

1) Choose a fruit

2) Count number of fruits 

For example: Banana

There are 5 Bananas

3) Find the word problem that matches the best

For Example:

The problem mentions:

There 7 bananas. You buy 2. How many bananas are left?

You refer to your picture and see how many bananas you count.

5 bananas

4) Then you will do the rest for all the problems and do the same

5) Next match of the number of fruits that fit in each sentence.
