Introduction
The 13 Colonies
The United States was formed from thirteen British colonies in 1776. Many of these colonies had been around for well over 100 years
including the first colony of Virginia which was founded in 1607. 
Task
Task:
On your chart, you will be describing 4 categories for each of the 3 sections of the 13 colonies- New England, Middle Colonies, and Souther Colonies.
You will describe:
- political (government)-what was their government like?
- economic (industries)-how did the colonies make money? (Example: growing cotton, fishing)
- social (religion)- what type of religion was prominent?
- geographic (natural resources, climate, landforms)
