Process

1. TERMINOLOGY

"AR verbs" – These are verbs that end in the  letters -AR.  Some common -AR verbs are hablar (to talk), bailar (to dance), trabajar (to work), and necesitar (to need)"Conjugate" – this is when we change the verb.  For an -ar verb, we will take off the -ar, and add different endings depending on the form.
For regular -er, and -ir verbs, we’ll take off the endings.
For irregular verbs , you’ll most likely have the forms memorized.
In English this would be an example of verb conjugation:  I sing,  You sing  He sings, She sings, We sing, You sing (Spain), and They sing.
In Spanish, a regular present tense conjugation would  look like this:
yo canto, tú cantes,  él canta, ella canta, nosotros cantamos, vosotros cantáis, and  ellos cantan, ellas cantan, and ustedes cantan.
Most of  the forms are different unlike in English where only two forms are different.
