INTRODUCTION
Congratulations! You are about to plan the journey of your life! You are going to do a Travel Simulation Activity designed for students to practice English. In this activity, you are going to plan a trip to one of the most beautiful cities, New York.
Task
THE TASK
You have to split into groups of 2-3 people. Each group has to work together to plan the journey. You need to assign responsibilities to the students of your group. Some of you will research the information about the country where you go, others – namely about the city.
You will find and learn information about the language, culture, food, population, and famous places. Eventually, you have to find a way to demonstrate New York’s places of interest to your groupmates (visitors). When visitors come you will be responsible for explaining the city’s uniqueness to the visitors.
