Introduction
Everyone deserves to be treated equally! Throughout this WebQuest, I hope that you feel more comfortable, and aware of peers who may be a little bit different than you. Different. Not Less. You will learn more about disabilities, and even see what it's like to live like many students with special needs on a daily basis. You need to include others, build friends up, not bring them down. The goal for this WebQuest is to come away with a growth mindset, and an open mind to our special learners.
Task
For this WebQuest, you will be creating a game for a specific type of disability.
Make sure you keep in mind the hearing impaired, visually impaired, and physically impaired.
Have fun! :)
Process
In order to create a game, and understand and connect peers with special needs, you will have to learn a little bit more about a few disabilities. There are links provided below that you will need to use to get this information.
There are a few paragraphs you will need to take notes on, as well as a couple video that are key to show you how some people find ways to work around their disability.
