Introduction
This webquest is for the purpose of learning about Norway and how it came to be. You will learn about their geography, their religion, and other aspects of their culture.
Task
Your task is to become a ‘specialist’ in Norwegian history, culture and geography. The different tasks in this WebQuest will help you in achieving that.
The first task of the WebQuest will focus on Norwegian history. Who lived in Norway 1000 years ago? Where did they go? What do we know about those people?
The second task of the WebQuest focuses on Norwegian geography. What is the climate and landscape in Norway like? And what exactly are these ‘fjords’ that can be found in Norway?
The third task of the WebQuest focuses on the Norwegian culture. What are some typically Norwegian dishes/meals? What is so special about the Norwegian prisons? And what are some must-see places in Norway?
in order to complete these tasks, you will need a laptop with a working internet connection, a text editing program on your laptop (such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs) and earphones. If you are having difficulties answering the questions in this WebQuest, do not hesitate to consult your teacher!
