Web-Quest "William Shakespeare's Biography"

Introduction

This web-quest designed for the students of the 8th form. (Литература, Unit VIII)

This web-quest is devoted to one of the most outstanding English playwright.

Imagine you are the young and perspective journalists working on the biography of William Shakespeare for famouse Belarusian magazine. So you have to get acquainted with the biography of an English playwright and poet who has become known as the greatest dramatist in the English language. You should understand the information and learn it in order to write an article without any mistakes. You are responsible, because you're the first, who make such a report in Belarus. You will know about the life and popular works of the author, amazing things to know and interesting facts to learn.

Let`s get started and explore the biography of one the greatest writer in the English language.Some additional materials such as video, exercises and article at Britannica.com will help you in your work.

To fulfill what we have planned for, you have to do all the tasks.

You are supposed to be active, creative and curious in doing this project.

Task

You have to make a report about W. Shakespeare biography at class using Power Point Presentation.

To do these tasks you will need to work in small groups or individually. And complete all exercises and assignments.

To begin you will also need a journalist's notebook. In this notebook you must write down all the information needed for your report. Don't forget to save some images for your Power Point Presentation. They must help you to present the peculiarities of Shakespeare's life you are talking about.

Process
