Introduction
Welcome to this quest on the web!
Repeat after me... "I CAN... demonstrate an understanding of the properties and behaviors of waves by obtaining and communicating information with working through a webquest online of hyperlinks along with its directives to help.
Keep on keeping on!
Process
Click on the following hyperlinks of standards for further instructions. Each section of questions are worth 6 points for a perfect score total of 36. Use the handout to record each of the following category (A-F) responses.
A. 8.P.3A.1 Characteristics of Mechanical Waves (Construct Explanations)

C 8.P.3A..3 Light Properties (Analyze and Interpret Data)
D 8.P.3A.4 Intersecting Mechanical Waves (Analyze and Interpret Data)
E. 8.P.3A.5 Seeing Color (Construct Explanations)

Conclusion
At the end of the lesson students will be aware of waves and various ways of showing their understanding. Students will be able to do a self-assesssment, and peer-assessment of the waves standard they are having difficulty with.
The Teacher will enter webquest results into Mastery Connect to reflect student progress through the standards to be able to view assessment results over the unit so far.
