Introduction

In this WebQuest you will explore articles that explain some of the reasons why it is important for citizens to vote.

 

There are many elections to vote in, not just the presidential elections that are held every 4 years.

Task

You will be exploring multiple articles and learning all about the basics of voting. Listed below are some of the tasks you will be accomplishing.

  • Find out why it is important to vote.
  • Find out what elections are near and available to vote in.
  • Find out how often presidential elections are held.
  • Find out how often local elections are held.

Evaluation

You will be graded on a 1-5 rubric. This is a formative assessment for me to see where your understanding is at with voting.

 

5- Student completed each task with an exceptional answer and the student shows he understands the importance of voting. 

3- Student showed effort in researching materials but did not complete all tasks and answer all questions.

1- Student showed no effort at all.
