Introduction
The Natural History Museum of London is planning a new Mythology display for summer. The target public for this display are children from 12 to 18 years old, and they have selected your school to create the display on Greek Mythology. They have asked for a summary of the most important elements, events and characters of this particular mythology, giving you the opportunity to show your skills and your knowledge. Do not waste this chance to be on one of the most important museums of the whole world!
Task
In order to provide the Natural History Museum of London with a display nobody will ever forget you must deal with the most important aspects of the Greek Mythology. To do that the different parts of your display have been divided in different sections and tasks. For each task you will have to submit a specific final product made in the platform given to you with the information sources that have been carefully chosen to ease your workload. Try to be as original and creative and possible. But do not worry, the public will love it!
Process
1º The Creation of the World
In this stage you will have to research how the world was created according to this mythology. To do that, we have selected a couple web pages where you can access information about this. After that, you will need to create a timeline that collects all the important events and the different moments in this critical moment for the Greek mythology. The platform Visme will give you the resources to do an attractive and informative timeline that everyone will enjoy!

2º Gods and Goddesses
Every mythology counts with their deities, and Greek mythology has the most famous. Who has not heard of Zeus? Or his brother Poseidon, god of the sea? They are all related. However, their family can be sometimes tricky and confusing; therefore you will have to create a family tree for the Olympus. Do not worry we will give you the necessary tools for you to succeed in this challenge. The links with the information sources are accompanied with the webpage Bubbl where you will be able to create your family tree. Try to provide pictures of the gods and goddesses for the visitors to recognise them!

3º Heroes
Greek mythology was famous for some of their heroes, those who saved people or had special qualities such as super strength, great intelligence or the help of one of the deities. Now your job is to research the most important ones and give the visitors of the museum some information about them and tell them what they did to become famous in the Ancient Greece. The Natural History Museum of London has asked for a particular hero to be widely explained, probably because he is the most famous son of Zeus… yes, we are talking about Heracles. You will have to research about him, his life and the Labours of Heracles. To do everything you will used the app called Prezi, as it more dynamic and visual, it is very intuitive and easy to use do not worry!

4º Creatures and Monsters
Not everyone in Greek Mythology was a human or a god, the stories and myths introduced the existence of different creatures and monsters that were faced by the gods or the humans. Your job now is to create a bestiary, where you will need to provide the picture of the creature, information about it, and the myth where it appears. Canva is an excellent tool for the creation of info graphics and it is really simple to master.

5º Presentation of all the products
In this last stage the different groups will present their jobs and it will be the class who will decide which one is send to the UK to be displayed in the Natural History Museum of London. Do not worry if one of your parts is not as good as you expected it can be send too! The class will have the opportunity to decide which part is better and make a combination of the parts provided from different groups. In order to come to an agreement a peer-assessment rubric will be provided during this stage. The task with the higher grades will be the chosen one.
Evaluation
You will be evaluated both individually and as a group
Individual assessment (30%)
- Diary
- Peer-assessment
