Verb Tenses

Introduction

  • Verb tenses are used to show time. Verb tenses tell when the events happen, happened, or will happen.

Task

  • Define and understand the different Verb tenses. After that, you have to give an example. Make a sentence, one for each tenses.
  1. Simple tense; present, past, future.
  2. Perfect tense; present, past, future.
  3. Progressive tense; present, past, future.

Process

  • In completing this task you must do the following.
  1. Use the internet, research about the topic and understand. Observe how the examples are used for each tenses. You can even watch some videos on YouTube for further information.
  2. Practice, make your own sentence for each tenses. Just give only one sentence for each.

  • Task will be evaluated through the following:

Poor

(There will be a comment for improvement at the end of the evaluation)

Conclusion

  • This topic will help you understand when you are reading texts, especially literary. If you already mastered the use of tenses it is easy for you to construct ideas in a sentence.
