Introduction
We have been exploring the complexities of social media. As we prepare to formally discuss complex issues in a Socratic seminar, we turn to various sources to inform our opinions, challenge our beliefs, and enrich our perspectives.
Task
Topic: Privacy Risks with Social Media
Focus Question: To what extent is information shared online publicized as intended or misused?
Objective: Evaluate various sources on this topic to create a Pro-Con organizer and formulate discussion questions. The end goal is to engage in discussion during a Socratic seminar.

Process
In your table groups, elect the following roles:
1. Academic leader: keep the group on task and monitor discussion. You are in charge of asking questions.
2. Connector: Ask questions of your team members. Apply your findings to the world. Record questions
3. Recorder (x2): Gather thoughts and encourage every team member to contribute to the product
*Each person completes his/her own t-chart. I will randomly select one to assess.

Evaluation
Product:
- Pro-Con t-chart with 3 entries on each side
- 2-3 discussion questions.
- On task discussion using Pro-talk

If you finish early, rehearse your responses to the guiding question and be ready to participate in the Socratic seminar.
