These kids need an advocate who will stand up for them and make sure they get the support and assistance they require. The requirements of a kid may not be met for a variety of reasons. The underfunding of the child welfare system, which leads to a lack of resources and some children sliding through the cracks, is one reason for this. The goal of child welfare is to provide a secure environment for children and the resources their families need to raise them. Child welfare refers to a range of services designed to keep kids safe.
