Introduction

Did you know that Jesus used stories to teach important lessons about life and God's kingdom? These stories are called parables! 

By the end of this activity, you will understand the meaning behind different parables and create a fun way to share them with others.

Task

Your Mission is to: 

1. Choose one of Jesus' parables to study.

2. Discover its meaning by using online resources.

3. Create a short illustrated storybook or comic strip retelling the parable in your own words.

4. Present your story to your class or family

Process

Follow these steps to complete

 

1. Choose a parable from the list below:

* The good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37)

* The Lost Sheep (Luke 15:1-7)

* The Mustard Seed (Mathew 13:31-32)

* The Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32)

 

2. Read and watch different explanations of your chosen parable using the provided resources.

3. Write a summary of the parable in your own words.

4. Illustrate your story (you can draw by hand, use an online drawing tool, or make a PowerPoint)

5. Share your work with your classmates, family or friends.
