Understanding Comprehension

Introduction

This Web Quest is designed to help students from the 6-7 age group to strengthen their comprehension skills. This will allow the students to utilize the videos and other content to help them to answer questions better based on what they read.

Task

You are going on a Web Quest. Your job is to find out more about understanding comprehension skills in a fun way while reading.

Process

1. First you will need to watch a video on what to look for when reading a story. Click the video below to view.

2. Click and watch the video below, read along and only answer questions to the first comprehension. Then follow the video to guess the correct answers by writing down a, b or c as the answer you think is correct. Lets see who gets the most correct answers.

3. Complete a reading activity and answer the questions in complete sentences below without looking back at the book. Please click the link below.
