Introduction
As an introduction to our next novel, The Things They Carried, you will be conducting a WebQuest. There are hundreds and hundreds of sources on the Vietnam War available on the web, and today you are going to work to find quality sources to share with your classmates!
Process
1. Go to the following website http://www.history.com/topics/vietnam-war/vietnam-war-history
2. Watch the video and read through the information presented about the Vietnam war.
3. After reading, select ONE aspect of the Vietnam war to research.
4. Now here comes the hard part! Find THREE sources, two primary (photos, eye witness accounts, videos) and one secondary (article by historian, family member accounts, etc.) on the specific subject you have chosen.
5. Once you've found your three sources, email the three links to me at amulraney@chsd1.org.
Evaluation
You will be evaluated on your ability to find two QUALITY primary sources and one QUALITY secondary source. You will also be evaluated on your ability to explain the sources when I show them to the class.
