Ugandan Culture

Introduction

In this WebQuest, all students will be provided with useful information about the culture of Uganda. This will help the students understand the differences and similarities within and among the cultures of the world by comparing American culture to Ugandan. 

 

TEKS 6.15 (B) identify and describe common traits that define cultures;                             TEKS 6.15 (E) analyze the similarities and differences among various world societies; and

Task

You have been selected to discover and learn about Uganda's culture. You will create a PowerPoint that properly displays and explains each area that creates a culture. You will have at least one slide for each area of the culture you are researching. The nine areas are listed below.This means your PowerPoint should have at least eleven slides this includes your cover slide and similarities/differences slide. In the last slide you will include a venn diagram map that shows the similarities and differences between Ugandan and American culture.

Make sure to include pictures in your slides. You will be presenting this to the class and will need to be able to properly explain what you have learned about Uganda and their culture to your classmates.
