Students will learn the two different types of starts in track and field and the events to which they are associated. Student will demonstrate the correct technique when executing the different starts. Students will work willingly in groups. Students will explain the coaching points while demonstrating the different starts.
Task
Students will use online resources to learn about the two types of starts in track and field and the event to which they are associated. Students will state the varying coaching points associated with each type of start. Students will be able to practice and demonstrate these starts during class individually and collaboratively.
