Twelve Angry Men

Introduction

                  Why are there twelve angry men?  Who are they and what is the reason for their anger?  

In the play, Twelve Angry Men, eleven jurors believe that the man standing trial is guilty of capital murder.  However, there is one courageous juror who stands up and makes the jury reexamine the case and tries to persuade others of his thinking.

Task

You will use the Internet to locate specific information regarding the play.  Record your answers on the handout, which will serve as a study guide for the play.  You may work in pairs, and after you you have recorded your answers, please consult with your partner to check your answers. We will discuss the worksheet before the test. You will be allowed to use this sheet on the test, so be accurate with your answers.
