Introduction
Henderson State University NuFusion Jazz Band is an ensemble that consist of the top performers in the HSU music department. Not only does the band plays jazz but the music varies. Nufusion plays Jazz, Rock, R&B, Blues, and country; which is why the band would rather be called NuFusion instead of a jazz band.
Task
Studnets will develop more musicality. The oppurtunity of playing in the small ensemble allows students to understand jazz chords, dynamics, and balance better.
Process
Students should warm up individually then as a section. After section warm uup the entire ensemble should tune. When all instruemnts are in tune theen students should play the music that is in their folder.
Conclusion
Students have succesfully played together as a small ensemble and by doing so have become better musicians.
