Traveling around the World

Introduction

Traveling around the World

Traveling is one of the best ways to learn about the world and relax after working or studying in our life. Have you ever wonder if you have a chance to visit a country in your dream, what you need to know about that country and what will you do when you are there? A trip full of interesting experiences and benefits requires careful preparation. Therefore, what you have to do is gathering information about the country you want to visit and creating a travelling plan including traveling tips and go to class then tell these things to your friends.

Task

Students have been divided into groups in class. Each group needs to choose a country of a continent and start to do research. To be more specific:

Firstly, you will get to know the continent and the country.

Secondly, you will make a plan for things to do while you are traveling.

Finally, you also have to collect some useful tips for a nice trip.

Remember to manage the information you found in books and on the internet by putting them in the checklist table below.

  • What is the capital city of that country?
  • What is the official language in that country?
  • Can you describe their national flag?
  • Are there any cultural events? Give more information about those events.

Some source suggestions:

  1. You can use these above website or choose another one. Then you have to answer the questions from the above list. You can add more questions and give the information for those questions.

Step 3: Presentation

This is the final step, you will arrange your ideas and your research. There are not any formats for the presentation, you can be creative. Share with the class where you like to go and what information you found about that place. And you can give some travel tips that base on your experience.
