Process

To get started, discuss the following questions in groups:

- Do you like traveling?

- Have you ever traveled abroad?

- Who do you often travel with?

- Among the places you have traveled to, which is your favorite?

- Which place do you want to travel to most?

Then, you can have a look at the link below:

https://www.tripadvisor.com/TravelersChoice-Destinations

This is the world's top 25 travel destinations of 2017, nominated by Tripadvisor.

After browsing through the page, answer the following questions:

1.     What is your favorite destination?

2.     Does it have any of these features?

5.     If you had a chance to visit the place, which tourist attraction/thing would you want to visit/do first?

6.     If you had a chance to visit the place, at what time of the year would you travel there? Why?

7.     If you had a chance to visit the place, where would you like to stay?

a. Hotel

b. Homestay service

c. At a friend's house (if any)

Finally, find yourself a partner. Decide where you would both want to go to, and find out more about the place using the Internet. Then make a travel plan following the given layout. Remember to include details of flights (time, costs), accommodations (accommodation selection, costs, etc.), things to do (e.g. go swimming, sightseeing, diving), and places to visit.

After wrapping up your own plan, make a slideshow on Powerpoint (or any other similar softwares) and be prepared to give an oral presentation of about 10 minutes in class next week!
