Travel Back in Time

Introduction

This webquest will allow you to travel back in time and interact with different individuals who were involved in the Civil Rights Movement. You will begin by collecting information about Burmingham, Alabama. If you recall, in the novel that we just finished, the Watson's encountered negative treatment when they traveled from their home to visit their grandmother. Once, you understand different laws that were in place in Alabama, you will then read various biographies about different activists that were involved in the Civil Rights Movement. Once your quest is complete, you will choose your favorite activist and write a letter to that person explaining what you learned about their journey.
