Course: Principles of Translation

Materials: Larson, M. L. (1984). Meaning-based translation: A guide to cross-cultural equivalence. Lanham, NY and London: University Press of America.

Follow the steps, please!

 

 

1. Summarize the content of the two chapters covered in the class

2. Add the notes taken in the class to the summaries, please.

3. Please watch the video on how to make wikis, shared with you on What'sApp.

4. Now, having watched the video, please start your work. Don't forget to cooperate with your pair and creat your own wiki titled "translation".

 

Evaluation

The criteria based on which your work will be assessed:

 

1. Coverage of the content of the book (25%)

2. The use of examples as well as elaboration in your own words (25%)

3. The maximum employment of tables, pictures, links, and other facilities existing in wikis (25%). For further information, you may need to refer to my recorded video.

4. The design of your wiki (25%).
