Introduction

In this activity, you will journey through time to discover how history has shaped the nation’s culture, values, and way of life.

Task

You will work in small groups to create a timeline infographic that:

Highlights at least five significant historical events in the Philippines.
Explains how each event influenced Filipino culture or society.
Uses images, short descriptions, and clear dates.

Your timeline will be presented to the class and posted on our classroom bulletin board.

Process

Form groups of 3–4 students.
Choose five historical events from different periods (pre-colonial, Spanish, American, Japanese, and contemporary).
Research each event using the resources provided and at least one additional credible source.
Identify the cultural or societal impact of each event.
Design your timeline infographic using Canva, Google Slides, or poster paper.
