Totally 80's Webquest

Introduction

To better understand the 1980's decade that Ready Player One is based on, you and your clan partner will research the 1980's and everything involved! If you have any questions, please ask!

Task

Using the websites provided, divide your work into the following sections: 

1)Let's Get Political! (Politics): who was in power? what major political events happened around the world? 

2) Totally Rad Music: what music or musical artists were big in the 80's? You can post videos and images/ quotes from different artist.

3) Fashion FUN: what fashion choices were big during the 1980's? What hair/ make-up was popular?

4) Games and Toys: what toys became popular or came out? what video games were popular?

5) Growing Up 80's : extra information about the 80's and what it was like to live their. This is any extra information. Maybe cars, school, sports, books, etc.

6)TV/Movies: most famous TV shows came out? what famous movies? big Oscar winners?

Post all you information to the Padlet posted on Google Classroom. Be sure to explain what you post and provide clan name

Evaluation

 Please tell Ms. Cusack your clan name.

Each clan must post at least 5 items to the padlet to each category. You need to watch the padlet because you don't want to repeat information. Repeat information will not give you full point.

 

The creative and winning clan (post the most information and analysis) will win a prize

Conclusion

When your group is done (you get the okay from Ms. Cusack)
