Tools in Teaching and Learning Approach
We all know that, there are many teaching tools in the world but their are teaching tools that have a good quality to succeed the task. As an authentic, scaffolded, and inquiry-based practice, a WebQuest is an educational superstar. It makes use of necessary resources and keeps students' attention. Students should not only rely on their own learning, but they can also gain a more comprehensive understanding of topics.
Task
OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson the students will be able to:
- Understand how to use different teaching tools.
- Explore the use of different teaching tools and platforms such as google sites.
- Present and share what they have discovered by creating an account through different google sites.
Process
1. Online Bibliography and Citation Tools
Zotero- collects all your research in a single, searchable interface. You can add PDFs, images, audio and video files, snapshots of web pages, and really anything else. Zotero automatically indexes the full-text content of your library, enabling you to find exactly what you're looking for with just a few keystrokes.
RefWorks- is an online research management, writing and collaboration too -- is designed to help researchers easily gather, manage, store and share all types of information, as well as generate citations and bibliographies.
2. Photo and Image Editing Tools
Adobe Photoshop Express- includes over 5 dozen free tools that allow you to make basic to advanced edits. Once you are finished editing you can share your creation directly on your favorite social network.
PIP Camera-Photo Editor- this is a fun app that allows you get creative with your pictures. The filters allow you to turn average pictures into masterpieces! Choose from over 200 frames and more than 20 filters to create the perfect image.
3. Survey, Polls, and Quizzes Tools

Quizalize- 'this tool allows teachers to create fun classroom exams or homework. Teachers can see the results live and easily spot students' strengths and weaknesses.
4. Web Conferencing Tools
Zoom- is a complete meeting tool package with high-quality video and a wide range of app integrations. Host virtual conferences, produce webinars, and grow your business with this cloud-based platform.
Google Hangouts Meet- is a lightweight, mobile-friendly video chat tool that allows for friction less remote meetings. It's easy to set up, sign in, and start communicating without the need for frustrating browser plugins.
Skype- makes it easy to communicate with large groups through high-quality video presentations, voice calls, and instant messaging, all in a single interface. Connect with your customers and team members without breaking the bank.
5. Stock Photos Sites
Shutterstock- is considered by many photographers to be among the top three stock imagery sites today. Shutterstock offers free registration, and commission rates start at 25%. Since Shutterstock is one of the main hubs for stock photography however, photographers face a decent amount of competition.
Fotolia- is another top tier stock imagery site. It was acquired by Adobe in 2019 and is in the process of being merged into the Adobe Stock photography service. Fotolia features curated collections of high-quality images, graphics, and more from their large creative community. As you can imagine, with Fotolia becoming part of Adobe Stock, it is quite the powerhouse in the world of stock photography.
6. Video Tools
Canva- this application is a free online videos that create your want a good quality video setup. When use this app search a Play store then download.

7. Testing and Quizzing Tools
Quizizz- allows you to conduct student-paced formative assessment in a fun and engaging way for students of all ages. The sallent features include: Student-paced: Questions appear on each student's screen, so they can answer questions at their own pace, and review their answers at the end.
Google Forms- is a we-based app used to create forms for data collection purposes. Students and teachers can use Google Forms to make surveys, quizzes, or event registration sheets.
8. PDF Tools
PDFill PDF Tool- This is probably one of the most user-friendly free PDF tools that offer you so many features. It provides the most important functions such as merging, splitting, reordering, rotating and cropping pages and even allows you to add headers, footers and watermarks.
