Introduction
In this Web Quest, you will have the chance to delve into the world that was the American Great Depression! I hope to further your understanding of the past times in our history, and since we're now focusing on the Great Depression, I have crafted this Web Quest in order to make this history course fun and entertaining.
Task
The first task is to come to class, hear my lecture, and take notes. Your next task is to form groups of 3-4. NO SOLOS! After we've found our (hopefully) efficient working group, I will give you 2-3 days of in-class free time to work on the lesson's project. This project will be a group presentation using the data you gather on the causes and impacts of the Great Depression.
Process
Part 1: Here are some links to get you started on the project!
https://www.stlouisfed.org/the-great-depression/curriculum/economic-epi….
https://www.loc.gov/classroom-materials/united-states-history-primary-s….
These links are about the causes and impacts of the Great Depression.
Part 2: Now, you must assemble a presentation (using Google Slides, or Canva. If you send me another website I can approve it).
When you finish compiling the data into an awesome presentation, we will, as a class, set aside 2 days to present to the class and be peer-reviewed by the class. I will also partake in feedback and review.
* Extra Credit opportunity! If, after feedback from your peers and myself is provided, your group decides to apply the critique of the presentation and send the updated version of it, I will give bonus points depending on the changes from the old presentation.
Evaluation
I will be grading the presentation using the following rubric, along with the average grade your peers give you.

I would like to credit Indiana University for supplying this site for the Web Quest. It provided the resources to format a Web Quest and allowed me to share it with students and peers.
Teacher Page
Instead of a long, multi-day lecture, I decided to let students work and discuss together. This Web Quest is to help students learn about the causes and impacts.
