Title: Exploring Plants, Parts of a Plant.
Introduction: Welcome to our plant exploration journey! In this section, we'll delve into the
fascinating world of plants and discover their different parts. Students will learn about the
functions of each part and how they work together to help plants grow and thrive.
Learning Objectives:
Watch a video about parts of a plant then identify and name the basic parts of the plant
(e.g.roots,stem,leaves, flowers,fruits etc)
. Understand the functions of at least two plant parts.
. Children should be able to recognize the importance of two parts in the plant's life cycle.
Plant Parts
Roots: underground structure that absorbs water and the nutrients from the soil.
Fruits: Structures that contain seeds and help with plant reproduction.
Assessment: Students will be assessed by their individual participation, diagram labeling and a
short quiz on plant parts and functions.
