Task
You will research to find out properties of triangles and quadrilaterals. Once you have completed this, you will then put those shapes into hierarchial order.
Process
1. Go to LearnZillion and enter code LZ3513 to watch a video on quadrilaterals. Then enter code LZ3535 to watch a video on triangles.
2. Create a hieracrhy diagram using the following terms:
Quadrilaterials, Parallelogram, Non Parallelogram, Rectangle, Square, Rhombus, Trapezoid, Kite, Other
3. Create a hierarchy of triangles diagram using the following terms:
Poloygons, Triangles, Equilateral Triangle, Scalene Triangle, Isosceles Triangle
To create your diagram you will need to click here. From here you will click on start drawing. Watch the short tutorial that will help you with creating your diagram.
4. Once you have completed your diagram, take a screen shot (Command, Shift, 4).
5. Open Safari and go to your Cabarrus Apps account (www.google.com) and sign in. Your sign in is your regular username@st.cabarrus.k12.nc.us and your password is your regular password.
6. Go to your drive and upload (arrow pointing up) your screen shot(s).
7. Click on my drive on the left side of the page. Find your screen shot(s) and click in the boxes beside it.
8. Go to the top of the page and click share. (It looks like a person with a + sign by it.) Share with Mrs. Ruisi at: leeann.ruisi@apps.cabarrus.k12.nc.us
