Introduction
Announcement text is text that contains short announcements, both written and oral. We often encounter examples of announcement text in schools, hospitals, airports or other public places, such as posters that we often encounter on the side of the road. The purpose of announcement text is to announce or inform something to other people.
You've certainly read or heard an announcement, right? You try
pay attention to the following expression.
“Attention, please! I'd like to inform that …” and “May I have
your attention, I found some money on the way to canteen. Is there any of you lost some?.”
When are these expressions used? Exactly right. These two expressions are usually used to make verbal announcements.
In this module you will be invited to practice being able to ask for and provide information related to special texts in the form of announcements. To achieve this Basic Competency (KD) you need to read many models of announcement texts,
and answer questions in the form of structured exercises, and then get used to reading and writing announcement texts in everyday life in your environment.
