Introduction
Happiness is a mental or emotional state of well-being characterized by positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy.
One important element is a sense of self-satisfaction.
A number of small positive events or accomplishments accumulate to provide a sense of self-satisfaction and contentment, which we interpret as personal happiness. For most of us, this is a state of mind rather than a specific emotion or response to positive outside forces.
Another important element of happiness is a sense of accomplishment.
This feeling can be the reward for persevering through difficult or challenging times and not succumbing to despair. Winning a contest or receiving recognition for a successful project often triggers feelings of happiness.

Task
The students will gather in pairs and they will create their own definition of happiness and see if we are in presence of it. Students will share their knowledge about the topic and incorporate outside knowledge in order to have a final definition of happiness that will help us to face life and whatever that may come.
Aim: To encourage students to find their own happiness.
To encourage the feeling of helping others find their happiness.
To promote a happy and healthy environment.
To realize of the importance of being happy in today's world.

Process
The students will gather in groups of two and perfom the following activities:
1. Search for information about happiness using different resources.
2. Interview someone who is againts the question and someone who does believe happiness exists and record it using. In order to get the two possibilities of the topic.
3. Write an essay in pairs about the topic having a personal opinion with the gathered information of about 700 words.
4. The pairs will have to create a project called "happy me, happy you" in which they will have to find someone who is not willing to accept that happiness exists, such a person that suffers from depression, BPD, among other feelings and find ways to encourage this person by practicing all they have learned about it. This person will have to write every day about his/her feelings for a month and see the changes of mood. This notebook will be shown to the teacher at the end of the month. ( The real one and the one they translated into English if neccesary )
Evaluation
Evaluation:
The teacher will ask the student how he/she felt before doing the research about happiness and how he/she feels now. If their feelings towards happiness changed into a more positive ones, this means the aim was achieved.
(formative)
The teacher will read the notebook of the project "happy me, happy you" and see the process of the person they chose and she will evaluate the changes than that particular person has gone through, not matter if by the end of the month they still belive in happiness or not, the important thing is that they actually gave a chance to happiness to enter in their lives and any minimal change in that person will be counted as a happy end.
