Technology: Friend or Enemy?

Introduction

Technology: Friend or Enemy?

It is clear that technology is here to stay, but the question remains -- should we celebrate it or mourn it?  Since technology's infancy, humans have loved it, hated it, and feared it.  Many novels and movies address the question as to whether technology is something that should be encouraged, discouraged, or held in check.  In our study of Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451, we will examine this question within the context of the novel.  In order to get you thinking, inform you of the issues on both sides of the debate, and activate your prior knowledge, you will complete this webquest.
