You are about to plan the vacation of your choice.  Think of yourself as the "trip designer".  Where have you wanted to go? What activities do you enjoy doing when you are on vacation? What time of the year do you want to go and how long do you want to stay?  These are just some of the things you need to think about.  The key to an awesome vacation, is in the planning. Looking at what a trip entails takes time, but in the long run it can make your vacation run smoother and be more enjoying.  So if you don't want your vacation to end in disaster, START PLANNING!

Your task is to become a super planner! Once you have chosen you destination for your vacation, think about the details of the trip. Details include: budget, travel, food, family/friends going, length of vacation, sigthseeing and activities. A place to start is to create a travel log, using a paper notebook of yourchoice or a virtual notebook.

Process

Process/Steps

(Remember: Make sure that you keep all these details in your notebook.)

1. Decide on where you are going on vacation.

2. Decide on your budget. (suggestion $10,000 -$15,000)

I created this web quest as I have enjoyed traveling with my family since I was four and a half years old.  As a resuslt, I have traveled over much of the United States with my family.  As an adult I have been able to travel to different countries all over the world.  From my travel experiences, I have learned so much, that I wanted my students to have this experience for themselves, even if it was virtual travel.  Perhaps some day in the future, they will be able to have the real experience! Happy Traveling!
