Discover different habitats found all over the world!
Introduction
Welcome young scholars. Your local travel agency needs your help! They are taking a group of people on a Habitat World Tour. However they do not have an habitat guide booklet to give to the participants because they do not know much about the different habitats. They have asked you to help make a habitat guide booklet; done by research. Who is ready to become a habitat expert?
Task
Task
Your task will be to create the best Habitat Guide Booklet. You will create a eight page Habitat Guide Booklet full of great information and pictures. You will fill this booklet full of information all about different habitats. You will also add very detailed and colorful illustrations. Once you have completed your booklet you will write a one page report stating wich habitat you like best and back up your opinion with facts from your research. Are you ready to get started?
Process
Process
You will be doing the Habitat Guide Booklet with a partner. First you will need to find information for the following habitats
- Forest
- Grasslands
- Desert
- Wetlands
- Artic Tundra
Second will need to make a chart similar to the one below to organize all of your information that you find for each habitat through research.

Third you will begin building your Habitat Guide Booklet with the information you learned from your research. You may design your booklet and organize your information any way you would like. However you must have the following:
- cover with illustrations and name
- table of contents
- one page with written or typed information for each habitat
- one illustration for each habitat
**Disclamer**
-Even though you are doing this project in pairs, each person in the group must make their own Habitat Guide Booklet. You may find your research as a group, but you each have to turn in a booklet.
