Introduction
The idea of this activity is for students to understand the developemental areas of Middle Adulthood. As we have learned Middle Adulthood is a time where adults can be confused about their own lifestyles because they are reminising about the old times, trying to adjust to their new life of being "alone". This can be known as the "empty nest". All of this can unfortunetly cause one to go through a mid-life crisis.
Task
You will be expected to write one page explaining the conflicts of those that may go through a mid-life crisis. You may choose situations such as, a young woman trying to change her image, a man trying to "life the young life" or a married couple who is considering a divorce. In your piece you are trying to explain to the reader how going through a mid-life crisis can affect the person's life.
Process
The process in which you will began:
1. You may review the topic in a group of two to discuss what areas you will be writing about.
2. Next you will want to start your research. You can use books, the web, journals, or personalized interviews to obtain your information.
3. Next you will formulate a rough draft and review them with the groups you were previously with. Peer editing is a great way for you to improve your own writing skills.
4. Write your final draft of your paper. Be prepared to give a brief explaination of your research and personal opnions.

Conclusion
We have gained great knowledge on one of the biggest aspects of life, Mid-Life Crisis. We have learned the many ways that one can go through such crisis, and the different types. In addition, we have learned that just because someone is turning 40 years old it doesn't mean that they will endure a mid-life crisis, everyone is different. I created this Webquest based off of my Life Span Development class. We are learning about the different stages of life and so far besides Childhood, I have found Middle Adulthood and Mid-Life Crisis to be most intriguing because everyone goes about it differently. There are some people who go through it really bad, and there are others who do not go through it at all.
