This was page allowed me to complete my task effectively. I want to afford my students the chance to give feedback on the lesson, therefore i will ask students for their views of the lesson upon completion.
Introduction
The Tainos where one of the first set of people to settle in the Lesser Antilles.They were also called Arawak Indians and they were also all the occupants of South America.
Task
The student will be caring out a search on the migratory pattern of the Tainos. This will allow them to see the different areas in witch they had migrated from and settled.
Process
The teacher will allow students to utilized different search engines such as; Google, Escohost, Youtube etc. to carry out the search. In the process of caring out the search for information the teacher will then provide the students with guided questions on specific things on which to search.
Where did the Tainos settled?
Why they settled in these Islands?
In which period did the Tainos settled in these areas?
Evaluation
Students will be place in groups of five(5) and discuss their finding in relation to the settlements of the Tainos. Each group will be allotted 5 minutes to briefly discuss there findings.
Conclusion
In conclusion the student will be able to appreciate the different areas where the tainos settled and the reasons for their settlement. In addition, students will be able to identify the migratory patterns of the Tainos from the South America to the Caribbean.
