Are You My Mother?

You are a zoo keeper and are in charge of making sure all new animals go to the exibit that they belong in. It is important for you to know all of the different names that an animal has, like baby dogs are called pups or puppies and baby cats are called kittens. 

You have been given several baby animals a gosling, a fingerling, a joey, a lamb, and a caterpillar and need to put them in their correct exibit so they can be with their mothers. Be careful, some baby animals share their names, like a baby dog and a baby bat are both called a pup. When you have finished researching make a list of all of the possible mothers for each of your baby animals. Good luck!

• 20 points- you made the list with the 5 animals and listed all of the possible mothers for each.
• 10 points- your list was clear and there were no spelling errors (since the animal names are spelled correctly on the websites)

Now that you have placed all the baby animals in their proper exibits I hope that you have learned more about the different names that animals go by. Animals can be called different names depending on if they are a boy,girl, young, or old.
