Process
1. TSW celebrate African Americans in the Sciences with Mop Top the Hip Hop Scientist.
2.TSW demonstrate and apply their knowledge by implementing them in the following activities.
• Choice #1: Create a concept map on an African American who made contributions to technology. Include pictures and other ways to express the concept.
• Choice #2: Write and/or type an essay about an African American who made contributions to technology. Make sure you cite all of your sources and list them in a bibliography.
• Choice #3: Create a PowerPoint about an African American who made contributions to technology. Make sure you cite all of your sources and list them in a bibliography.
• Choice #4: Free Choice - What creative way can you come up with to share important information about an African American who made contributions to technology. Write one paragraph describing what you want to do, and get it approved by Mrs. Worthey. Then, complete your project your way.
• Choice #5: Explore other ways to present their project, such as SpicyNodes, KidBlog, BioCube, Black History-Find the Face, Word Search, Word Scramble and Brain Pop activities.
