Introduction
This WebQuest will introduce you to the Culture, Religions, History, and Rights of Iran. Additionally, it will introduce you to the novel "Not Without My Daughter," which depicts the experiences of an American named Betty Mahmoody as she was held hostage in this country. Students will be asked to examine and identify biases, factual information, and to analyze both the novel and readings for this. The WebQuest is split into several sections; this quest is meant to take place over a long period of time. Part 2 includes an alternative to vocabulary logs.
