Building a Webquest

Introduction

A WebQuest is used to create lessons in which most or all content is provided with various Web sources.  A WebQuest usually includes sections for Introduction, Task, Process, Evaluation, Conclusion, and Credits.

Task

Using creatingwebquest.com you will create a webquest pertaining to a lesson or unit from any of the middle school classes.  Also, when completed classmates will participate in your webquest.  This lesson will familiarize you with what a webquest is and how a webquest can be used to further your learning.  

Process

This section includes all of your lessons.  

1.) Select one of the following lessons/units from a middle school class.

Social Studies:

* Family History

* Important events that happened on your birthday (exact day or year)

LA:

* The Freedom Writers (find a modern day hero; someone who is making a difference in their own community or the world)

Science:

* Weather

Spanish:

*

Math:

*

Technology:

*

Random:

* Look back at ACS (memories, goals for the future, favorites etc)

2.) All of the following sections of the Webquest must be completed.

* Introduction, Task, Process (lessons), Evaluation, Conclusion, Credits (resources)

* Teacher’s Page DOES NOT need to be completed

3.) Process must contain AT LEAST 3 lessons

 

Evaluation

- 30 points

- Due Tuesday, May 20th

Congratulations!  You have now created a webquest!
