Introduction
UNIT 6: AN EXCURSION
SPEAKING CLASS
Teacher: Huynh Gia Linh
Imagine that you are going to take a trip on a boat with your class as a vacation activity. How would you suggest the best seats for others and choose a suitable seat for you?

Task
You are going to work in groups of 4 or 5 students (as I have assigned in class) to act out the following Role-play activity:
Your class is going on a trip on a boat tomorrow. Most of the students have their own problems about the seats, so the teacher has to listen to his/her students and suggest the most suitable seats for the students. Each member of the group will play a role of:
- The teacher of the class - who will listen to his/her students and decide the best seats for them.
- Student A: Doesn’t want to get sunburnt
- Student B: Has travel sickness, needs fresh air and avoids the air-conditioned
- Student C: Wants to enjoy the views outside and take photos
- Student D: Wants to be by his/her self
Below is the seat map on the boat, you have to refer to this map to present your conversation.
Process
As instructed in the class, you are expected to record a 2 to 3-minute conversation and then upload it (under the .mp3 file) on Google Drive, and then copy the link of the recording to:
